This week for one of the literacy tasks we had to write about if the world had ended what was the best thing that was invented, I think the best thing that was invented was netball. Quite a few people did things like food and stuff like that, I choose a sport because it gives you lots of exercises and is fun underneath I have a bit more about why I think it is.
What do you think the best invention was or is?
Nice work Billie-Jo, I love that you saw what other people were doing and decided to go with something different. You raised so many great points too, well done! I especially like your points about learning to work as a team and making great friends. Both such important things. There are so many great inventions, but I would probably have to pick something like electricity! Well, it wasn't invented, but it was discovered, does that count?? Haha. Keep up the awesome work. ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a sport being mankind's greatest creation, though I might lean more towards curling or hockey :). There's something special about mastering the movement on ice that is both exciting yet challenging that makes those stand out to me. The same reasons you prefer netball (learning teamwork and playing with friends), stand as the reason I'd use a sport as well though. Have a good weekend!
