My identity

Kia ora bloggers,
Every Friday our class writes or learns about our family tree or about our family's background, first we had to go home and learn about our ancestors and then we had to make a family tree on it. Now we are working on our pepeha's, for now, we are just adding or parents, siblings and grandparents.

 This term for inquiry we are learning about relationships, for today we were looking at contact lines like kids line, salvation army, SPCA and many more we had to pick one to make a poster on the one you picked. I chose kids line, for kids line I decided to make it fun and colorful because the line is for kids!!

Hello bloggers,

This week for literacy we had to do short poems,
the black letters in my poem are a part of the original poem but if it didn't make any sense you could change the black words up a little bit and the blue ones are the ones I changed.
The first poem is by William Carlos Williams and his poem was famous.

Hello bloggers, What have you been doing for literacy this week? Well in literacy we have been learning about waste and we had an article of a magazine, we had to try to skim and scan to try to find the answers to the questions that we had and add them to the document. We have learnt so much about not being waste full of food and making sure you save money by buying less.

Hello bloggers, This week for literacy we had to answer a bunch of questions by finding the answers from an article online, we were learning all about how to reduce food waste and the damage food waste does. There were lots of tips on how to reduce food waste and how to not buy as much as we do because we are spending way too much on food that we end up wasting.

Every week we have tech and well your group is not at tech we do either coding, P.E, and Samoan. For Samoan, we had to do the Samoan alphabet. The Samoan alphabet is a lot shorter than our alphabet.

I hope you had a good holiday!
After a long sunny summer break we went back to school and worked on some portraits, How was your summer break? At the start of this week, we did portraits, like the Romero Britto portraits that are meant to be very colorful and show your personality and your features. Here is my portrait I did!!

How do you like it? I think maybe next time I could add a bit more of my personality onto it now I will show a photo of some of Romero Britto's portraits!.

Waste

What is waste?

What is waste? Waste is something that is unuseful and has no purpose to you. Waste has lots of definitions and can be used in many ways like wasting time, physical waste, talent, commercial waste and a few more. 

physical waste, wasting materials are mainly items you would find around the house and are things such as bottles, cans, clothing, disposables, food packaging, food scraps, newspapers and magazines, and yard trimming. Wasting time is when you could be doing something but you're not doing that so your wasting time. Commercial waste is mainly waste from schools and workplaces, like paper and plastic.

Waste is very important, people need to think about what they are wasting whether it be time or physical waste. Altogether waste is something people need to think more about and take it more seriously.
